Eat with a group

Call the county or tribal aging offices to find locations where your loved one can join other seniors for a nutritious meal served in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. There are also volunteer opportunities with the meal program. Special diets are provided upon medical recommendation. Donations are encouraged.

Receive a meal at home

This program is for people 60 years or older who are homebound due to health reasons, and are physically or emotionally unable to travel for a meal with others. It is for those who are unable to obtain food and prepare nutritious meals on a daily basis. Meals are delivered by sensitive, caring people, many of whom are volunteers, who are concerned with the wellbeing of each participant. Call the county or tribal aging office to apply. You can speak with the program coordinator about the home-delivered meal program and to determine eligibility for this service.
